Holly Hastie Extends Age Range By Laura Turner
Girlswear label Holly Hastie is to increase its range to cover baby through to teen, offering the collection from three months to 14 years.
The British brand, whose collections are made in Europe, specialises in party dresses and separates teamed with cotton cashmere knitwear.
“Many of our customers wanted the s/s 16 range in baby sizes, particularly in the USA and UK,” says brand designer, Holly Hastie. “Because so many customers in the Middle East and Japan wanted to place orders in larger sizes, up to early teen, we did a special production run just for them. We then found other customers wanted the new sizes, too.”
The a/w 16 collection, entitled Truly Scrumptious, is inspired by the subtle sugary colours of macaroons and fondant fancies. Highlights include candy pinks, silver and gold sparkles, and ice blues combined with jacquards, damasks, taffetas, satins, organza and velvets.
Holly Hastie is showing its a/w 16 collection at Pitti Bimbo, Bubble London and ENK New York.
